For long-term results, a course of 3-6 treatments at 4-6 week intervals is recommended, but many people see results right after the first treatment. Dermapen can also be used as a single treatment for a moisture and lustre boost.

You should not use make-up for 24 hours after treatment and should avoid sun for 48 hours. If you’re exposed to UV light, use a sunscreen with high SPF. After treatment, a slight redness is usually seen, as evidence that the treatment has created an inflammatory process. The redness usually subsides after a few hours. The possible reactions you can experience for a few days afterwards are dryness, slight flaking, redness and some swelling.
