Thigh plastic surgery is done when the skin becomes limp and saggy at the top of the thighs. Most often, it’s a significant drop in weight that gives rise to this condition, but there are other causes as well. The operation is done under general anaesthesia and takes about an hour and a half.
If you’ve lost weight or for some other reason the skin on the inside of your thighs has become limp and saggy, a thigh plastic surgery is the best way to fix it. For minor sagging only at the top, you can do it via an incision up towards the groin, which is easy to hide. But usually it’s soft and saggy further down the thigh, and then you have to make a vertical cut down to the knee. This of course leaves a visible scar behind, but the result gets better along the whole thigh. The operation is done under anaesthesia and takes an hour and a half.
You stay one night at the clinic with sturdy cycling leggings as a bandage. The sick leave period is usually 3-4 weeks depending on your work. Exercise should be avoided for four weeks. Initially, the scars are red and hard but after six months they start to fade and soften.
